Kids’ Principles

Unitarian Universalists have many ways of articulating our seven Principles in simpler language. Here’s the way our Spirit Play children’s programs describe them:

Red is for Respecting the Importance of Every Human Being
Orange is for Offering Fair and Kind treatment
Yellow is for yearning to learn by listening to each others’ ideas
Green is for growing my own beliefs by talking and learning with others
Blue is for Believing in myself and my ideas
Indigo is for insisting on Peace, Justice, and liberty for all
Violet is for Valuing our interdependence with nature
