Join us for a profound and necessary evening of community, grieving, and healing as we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR).
We invite you to gather on Saturday, November 22nd to honor the memory of those whose lives were tragically cut short by anti-transgender violence.
Beyond the ceremony, gathering together helps us create space to acknowledge the immense toll society takes on people who are different, and to collectively lift the burden of grief.
We invite you to come as you are and bring the grief on your heart and mind. The evening will be focused on healing and remembrance through:
- Poetry and Storytelling: Sharing narratives that celebrate lives lived and acknowledge , you are invited to help the loss.
- Music and Light: Creating a sacred atmosphere for reflection.
- Community: Responding in ways that affirm the value of every person when absorbing the devastating impact of violence on individuals, families, and communities.
- Hope and Gratitude: Leaving with gratitude for those who came before us and departed too early.
This service will be held onsite only.
