Have you ever been curious about our Chalice Circle program? Are the Soul
Matters packets a complete mystery? For newcomers and long-timers, on
Aug 24th we’ll gather after worship, and while sharing sandwiches, we’ll offer a
brief introduction to the themes that we use for worship and growing in
community. There will also be a simple sampling — a “taste” — of our Chalice
Circle program. In small groups, everyone will have the chance to listen and share thoughts about
our experience of belonging or living with invitations. For example, we might consider responding to
one of these questions:
● What has been enjoyable about being part of a community? What’s been challenging?
● What is the most beautiful invitation you ever received?
● What relationship invited you to grow up the most?
● If you could only invite two new things into your life in the coming year, what would they be?
● How has parenting or caring for another invited you to be more courageous?
● Have you grown more from what you’ve invited into your life or what you’ve disinvited from
your life?
