The Venerable Bhante Sujatha is Abbot of The Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple and Meditation Center in Woodstock, IL. Bhante believes he is here to “prepare the field for other people, who — when they achieve happiness — will hopefully plant the seeds and do the rest.” He says, “I hope to help people here by teaching them to see their jobs and work as a form of spiritual practice, then they can learn to enjoy whatever they are doing in the moment, instead of always worrying about the future or the past. That’s the most important thing.”

Children and youth are invited to begin the day in our service and then go to WonderLab after the story for all ages. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee (and juice) and conversation. Coming of Age will meet 12-2 and Small Group Ministry for Parents of Adolescents and Creativity Matters will meet 12-1.
