Inspired Gifts: A Celebration of Flower Communion and of our Community

Our Sunday worship service will include our annual celebration of Flower Communion, a practice in Unitarian Universalist Churches throughout the world, to embrace the beauty in our diversity and uniqueness. As part of the ceremony, each person is invited to bring a flower with them, whether it is a wildflower from a field, a flower grown at home, or one brought from a store. Our worship service will also recognize and cherish precious gifts of love and service provided by so many within our Tree of Life congregational community.  Join us in this spiritual practice of connection and of gratitude.

We will take a special collection for CASA of McHenry County

  • Speaker: Chaplain Dave Becker
  • Worship Leader: Linda Karlen

This Sunday our students are invited to participate in Create Cafe with their special adult. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee and conversation.
