Rooted in Solidarity: UU Stories of Resistance and Resilience

This worship service draws insight, hope, and inspiration from our Unitarian, Universalist, and UU histories with select stories of how ordinary people have shown up for justice in very different ways and contexts. To borrow a phrase from the Biblical book of Hebrews, “ we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,….”to guide us on the road ahead.

  • Speaker: Chaplain Dave Becker
  • Worship Leader: Jesse Bowen

Children and youth are invited to begin the day in our service and then go to WonderLab after the story for all ages. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee (and juice) and conversation. Coming of Age will meet 12-2 and Small Group Ministry for Parents of Adolescents will meet 12-1.
