In a time of hyper-individualism and extreme divisions, it is vital to create community and build belonging. How do we build bridges without losing our selves? How do we build belonging that is not based in separation and othering? This Sunday, choir members from both our Prairie Circle and Tree of Life congregations will lead us in singing, Strong is What We Make Each Other, as together we consider the challenging call of our faith to side with love and to build belonging. We will take a special collection for Senior Services Associates. You are invited to dress in casual clothes if you would like to join Chaplain Dave for the FaithBridge “Creation Care” event at the Pleasant Valley Conservation Area in Woodstock beginning at 1pm.
- Speaker: Chaplain Dave Becker
