Water Communion is one of the few rituals that can be found in most Unitarian Universalist Congregations. It is frequently known as the homecoming service, with the idea that the waters that have scattered across the land are returning to one shared point. Water Communion is an important touch stone, a reminder, that no matter how far away we are from one another at times we are still one. Join us Sunday as we celebrate our return to our building. Join us as we recognize ten years in McHenry. Join us for our homecoming. If you are attending in person or on zoom bring water with you to participate in this powerful ritual.
- Speaker: Rev Jenn Gracen
- Worship Leader: Carol Alfus
- Music: Cassandra Vohs-Demann, Ron Relic, and Rebecca Heisler
After the service we will have online and in person social time. For those attending in person we will have a potluck lunch with fun activities for all ages. Please bring a dish to share. We will supply drinks.
