Everything you need to know for Service Auction 2017

Auction 2017

Salute to Vets…and ALL Who Resist

Saturday November 4, 2017 6pm

With veteran’s Day just one week after our auction, we are saluting and honoring Vets and all people who resist injustices of all kinds.  Ten percent of the proceeds from this auction will go directly to TLS Veterans in McHenry County.

What do you resist?

At the auction you will be able to express your resistance to injustices.  We will have posters on which you can write your resistance and sign you name.  This will be your chance to openly express your resistance.  Will you inspire others to express theirs?

But making a statement isn’t the only reason to come to the auction. This is your chance to get amazing art work, parties, and services. You can check out some of the items being offered in our advance copy of the Service Auction booklet. AUCTION BOOK MASTER 2017

But how does this all work? Below is a schedule of events for the night. When you arrive, you will receive a paddle with your bid number. You will use this bid number for the silent auction items and  the paddle for the live auction. While you wait for the live auction to start, you can enjoy refreshments, make a resistance decoration sign,  and check out the silent auction. Then join us in the sanctuary for the always entertaining live auction with our energetic auctioneer, Ron Relic.  Not only is this our biggest fundraiser of the year, but many fill out their social calendar for the coming year with all the great parties and outings offered.
