Announcing The Undivided Isle: The Missing Quest 

This class will run throughout 2024-2025 on select Sundays during our Worship service. 

In this class, students will become travelers who are presented with challenges and stories about the Undivided Isle and the creatures that live there. They will explore what it takes to work together and to practice using skills that foster a vibrant, collaborative community. As they solve puzzles and continue to look for something that is missing, it will become apparent that the Undivided Isle is surprisingly full of division, and they may not have traveled as far from home as they thought! 

Will they have what it takes to navigate the challenges, find what is lost, and bring harmony back to the island? 

Announcing the return of Spirit Play! 

During basement construction, students of all ages are invited to join the Quest class (see above). We’ll have friendly faces to welcome you into our explorations!  

Beginning October 27, students ages PK-2nd grade are invited to join the Spirit Play class. Using Montessori methods, Spirit Play presents central stories of our faith and congregation using simple, beautiful materials. These stories reflect our Soul Matters monthly themes. 

Calling all campers, adventurers, and explorers! 

Do you like to camp? Do you want to try camping for the first time? Everyone is welcome to join our TOLUUC Community campout from October 10-14 at The Hollows Campground in Crystal Lake, IL. Tents, cars, and campers are all welcome. Participants new to camping will find support, encouragement, and advice from old hands. 

This is Indigenous Peoples’ Weekend; come see what happens! There may be discussions, crafts, movies, dancing, yoga, and/or hiking in nature. Activities will depend on ages, interest and weather. S’mores will certainly make an appearance! Children are welcome with their amazing adult(s).
