We are celebrating our freedom and right to be who we are and our mission to celebrate diversity. Join us Sunday morning, June 15th at Woodstock Pride Fest. We will meet next to the Tree of Life UU float as we line up for the parade for a short but meaningful service to remind us that exclaiming loud and clear who we are and who we love is a spiritual practice. Make a day of it and join us in the parade, visit our booth, and enjoy all the Pride Fest activities.
Here is the timing:
- We will set up our booth on Benton Street by Warp Corp at 8:45am (you will not be able to drive onto the square)
- We will decorate our float by Dean Street Elementary School (Forest Ave) at 10am
- We will have our very short worship service next to our float at 10:30am
- You can ride or walk with us in the parade 11-12. Bring candy to toss and wear your colorful best
- Hang out with us at our booth and take in the festival 12-5
- Help us take down our booth at 5pm
Give yourself lots of extra time to find parking. Woodstock Pride Fest is very popular.
Our float (tractor and wagon) will be toward the very back of the parade. We are number 58 out of 60. Look for us on Forest but back toward Putnam Ave. We will be there at 10am to decorate and hold our service at 10:30am then step off for the parade at 11am (fingers crossed).
