In the “Who’s on First?” comedy sketch from 1938, confusion unspools rapidly (with hilarious effect) and shows us: sometimes a persistent but limited curiosity can lead us down endless rabbit holes. So. How do we see possibilities rather than dead ends? What makes meaningful questions that carry us beyond our assumptions? Why does the “ordinary” sometimes suddenly show up as a wonder and delight? In what ways does curiosity serve us well?
