In Praise of What Connects Us: Our Annual Water Communion Ceremony

What are the life lessons, and lessons for our spirit and our faith, that we can learn from the waters that surround us? This Sunday we explore and celebrate our connection to one another and to the wider web of life, our one world and one interconnected body of water. Our worship service will include our annual water communion ceremony, a liturgy and ritual celebrated in Unitarian Universalist congregations around the world. Bring a small container from one of the important waters in your life, whether it be from home, a nearby river or lake, or from someplace special to you near or far.  We will also provide some brief updates regarding our search for a new church home during our worship service. We will follow our worship service with a potluck, and an opportunity to participate in our Inquirers discussion.  All are welcome and invited.

  • Speaker: Chaplain Dave Becker
  • Worship Leader: Lisa Messinger
  • Music: Woodwind Ensemble

This Sunday our students are invited to participate in Create Cafe with their special adult during the service. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for the potluck lunch and Inquirers.
