Some people refer to Unitarian Universalists as people of little faith. (Even some UUs do.) I say they are wrong. And my sermon, I hope, will show you why. We will also take a special offering for Veterans Path to Hope.
Rev. Dr. Tony Larsen recently retired from being the minister at Unitarian Church North in Mequon, Wisconsin for 4 years. Before that he served 42 years at Olympia Brown UU Church in Racine, WI. Tony was born in South San Francisco in 1949 and studied to be a Catholic priest for 10 years before switching to Unitarian Universalism. He has written a book entitled Trust Yourself? You Have the Power (Impact Publishers, 1979), co-authored a UUA curriculum called A Catechism for Unitarian Universalists (1988), contributed a chapter on “UU evangelism” in Salted With Fire (Skinner House, 1995), and contributed a chapter on the spiritual practice of generosity in Everyday Spiritual Practice (Skinner House, 1999).
