Walking Together on a Path Toward Oneness, a Baha’i Perspective

Come join us in welcoming one of our Baha’i neighbors, Laura McLuckie-Khandan, as she shares how she is inspired by her Faith.

Laura McLuckie-Khandan chose to be a Baha’i as a youth while living in Crystal Lake, and has tried to live up to the teachings of Baha’u’llah, and translate them into action since that time.  This included living in service in Chicago, and then in China for eight years with her family.  Currently she works with local interfaith and other organizations in areas of communal understanding and social justice.  She is an artist-teacher, married to Hossein Khandan, a filmmaker and photographer.  They live in Huntley and have three young adult children.

  • Speaker: Laura McLuckie-Khandan
  • Worship Leader: Ron Relic
  • Chalice Lighter: Steve Lyons

After the service we will have online and in person social time.
