August 25–“Welcome Home”–Water Communion

Each year we end the summer with a ceremony that gives us a chance to “gather the waters” of community by sharing an important moment or memory with each other. Bring water that represents the most meaningful part of your summer. This is an all-ages service.

August 18–The Guest House

Rev. Sean returns from his vacation and study leave to explore this month’s focus on “Welcome.” He will explore the idea of welcoming all of life, using a poem by Jalal ad-Dīn Muhammad Rumi as his inspiration.

August 11–Seva: Selfless Service

Sandra Lott speaks about  Seva (a Sanskrit word)–service which is performed without any expectation of result or award for the person performing it.

July 21–Letting Go–Carol Alfus
