Spiritual Heritage of Being

Come join us for our inaugural offering of a Tree of Life Celebration – and a time of sharing TLC with each other. Worship Arts coordinator, M. E. Tanabe and our Music Director, Lilith Ransburg, are collaborating to create a worship of words and music.
Music is a unique gift that uplifts us and draws us together – it is a language of the heart that brings depth to our experience. Our service will invite us to contemplate some of our spiritual heritage — the gifts of wisdom and love flowing through the texts of humanity to nurture and guide us. As we welcome these gifts, we will celebrate what we are and how we can be.

We will take a special offering for UU Prison Ministry of Illinois.

  • Speaker: M.E. Tanabe and Lilith Ransburg
  • Worship Leader: Mary McClelland
  • Chalice Lighter: Lisa Messinger

After the service we invite you to join us for coffee and conversation. 12:15-1:15 we will offer an orientation for newcomers.
