Many churches highlight the desire to be a “welcoming” congregation in their statement of purpose. As humans, we long for community and acceptance. When people of shared values and dreams come together the result can be powerful and life-changing. By including all of humanity in our faith communities we re-define “welcome” for a new generation of faithful.
