We will be offering the course, Transgender Inclusion in Congregations, again this spring.

This in-depth program is for individuals and groups who want to take their knowledge and skills to the next level in terms of trans identity and how to build congregations that are fully inclusive and affirming of the full breadth of gender diversity. 

Over six sessions you will deeply explore the intersection of trans identity, spirituality, and faith community and gain the grounding, context, and skills to transform yourself and your congregation.

Below is information and dates for the course. There are two different options, each is a series of 6 classes, with a maximum of 6 participants in each class. Please review the info below and let Chaplain Dave know if you would like to attend, and which series will work best for you.  

Each class begins with a video which can be viewed in advance on your own, or watched together as a group before the class begins. (Some choose to do both) There are also supplemental materials that can be reviewed at your own pace.  The shared time is a small group discussion with time for personal reflection on the material. 

It is important to attend all 6 sessions with the same small group. Take a look at each series and see if there is one that works for you.

Please indicate if you would like to attend online on Tuesdays or in-person on Saturdays. In-person sessions at Trisha Steele’s home in Round Lake. Thanks so much Trisha for being willing to host the in-person training! Both sessions are open to both congregations.  Please register as soon as possible as spaces are limited.
