Due to illness, our member, Rev Dr Alan Shear gave a sermon titled Divine Statues, Holy Dice: Becoming Monotheists. One of the Unitarian Universalist six values is Transformation affirming that, “We adapt to the changing world. We covenant to collectively transform and grow spiritually and ethically. Openness to change is fundamental to our Unitarian and Universalist heritages, never complete and never perfect.” Join Alan Shear in investigating how much our openness to change has transformed our faith over the centuries.
Children and youth are invited to begin the day in our service and then go to WonderLab after the story for all ages. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee (and juice) and conversation. Newcomers are invited to stay after the service for our Faith Forward Inquirers Membership 101 session. Lunch will be served to all Inquirers attendees.
