Our next meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 3, in the library at RCLPC. We’ll be discussing Symptoms of Being Human, by Jeff Garvin. In this YA novel, a teen named Riley is trying to cope with gender fluidity while trying to fit in at a new high school, after being bullied at the previous one. Riley is also the child of a US senator, which complicates things because of the need for public appearances at times. Riley discovers that blogging helps reduce anxiety, but is not without risks.
